SOCIETY'S PURPOSES 

Vision: To create a safe, welcoming enjoyable lake community for all leaseholders in the Scotch Creek IR4, lots 1-66. 

Mission: to represent the Scotch Creek Leaseholders Association (SCLA) in communications with the band, regional district and Indigenous Affairs, on issues common to the Leaseholders. 

Objectives: 

• To work with the Little Shuswap Lake Band and the Columbia-Shuswap Regional District to limit and control mosquitoes in the area, specifically on lots 1-66 on Hilliam Frontage Road, on Scotch Creek IR #4. 

• To make representation to and to maintain communication with the Little Shuswap Lake Band to work together to ensure quiet enjoyment and environmental conservation of the leased lands. 

• To provide support for Leaseholders in approaching the Provincial Government, Federal Government and Department of Indigenous Affairs on the issues of taxation and lease increases.

•  To promote the welfare and benefit of the leaseholders for lots 1-66. To create a community among the leaseholders. 

This society is a member-funded society. It is funded primarily by its members to carry on activities for the benefit of its members. On its liquidation or dissolution, this society may distribute its money and other property to its members.
